Biography
Keith has over 37 years experience of real estate development, over 26 of which have been devoted to Aviation Property. Keith worked at BAA between 1994 and 2009 and served as Development Director at BAA Lynton during a time when it was the foremost developer of Aviation Property in the UK. Keith’s other Aviation Property activities involved a key role in the formulation of the 2 main UK aviation property funds.
Key Experience
Airport Property Development
Responsible for the entire development programme of office, warehouse/cargo and hotel projects at and around BAA’s UK airports between 2000-2009, including over 1.25m sq ft of new warehousing development at various sites at and around Heathrow airport. In addition Keith was a key member of the team that secured the largest ever Industrial Planning Consent at 7 million sq ft for Alconbury Airfield for an intermodal freight development, based around one of the UK’s longest runways.
Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT)
The provision of strategic advice to the Fund manager of AIPUT (an Airport Warehousing focused Investment Trust).
Airport Development (UK and International)
Provision of aviation related real estate consulting advice in the UK and further afield in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America maximising value for owners and occupiers of the Airport real estate involved. Keith has also been a frequent panel speaker at International Aviation Related Events.
Manchester Airport
Provision of strategic aviation related real estate advice in relation to the World Freight Centre at Manchester Airport.
General
Keith has a strong track record working within Joint Venture Structures. He has been closely associated in the provision of aviation related facilities for the likes of Honda, Aramex, Swissport, Heathrow Cargo Handling, McDonalds, dnata, Amadeus, Jurys Inn and British Airways.
